Had some time today to turn a pen. Grabbed a blank I made a few weeks ago that I just had to see what was inside. I dressed it with a rhodium Jr. Gent that has the gold accents. Finish was MM to 12000 and plastX. Thanks for looking and any comments welcomed!

Second Pen

Figured I'd post the pen that I entered in the beautiful pen contest. It's an Art Deco ballpoint dressed in one of my blanks that I made to try and simulate bakelite. Popped out that ugly orange stone and turned my own for the clip as well. Trying out a new way of posting pix so any feedback would be great between this way and the usual way. Thanks for looking!

I love the Art Deco (although I have found others done love it as much) and I really love your home made fakelite. I could only hope to make a blank that looks that good. OH and the pics are great. If I was to be critical which I have no room to talk but the last Deco is a little dark.
