This is my first attempt at posting a photo. I started playing around with segments years ago separating segments with pickguard. Eventually I became intrigued with the plaid look. This pen is made from two separate laminations cut into segments and defined with pickguard and veener. I call it the Highlander.

Very good segmenting! "There can be only one!"... Probably not what you meant but its one of my favorite movies and I don't get to use that line much. :)

Thank you for all the compliments! If anyone has any ideas for streamlining the glue up let us know. The polymer clay is a good idea but I am not ready for that challenge yet. Gene
