I got word that he had received his pens and thought I would share a couple of photo's. I thought I didn't save them when I took them but found them on another camera. I used a Atrax kit with the extra part to make it postable. He had mentioned that he like historic wood, well I don't have any of that. So I went with the pre-historic route. The pens combined age is around 50-70,000 years in the making. Kauri from New Zealand, Bog Oak from the Fen's and Mammoth Ivory scrap from Ernie EBorrgia.

I didn't photo the other stuff he was sent.

That's a beautiful pen Phil. You do awesome work. I like your choice of materials too. They just happen to be the same trio of components I used to make my pith to foamcapt40. I went with a Navigator though. I have to admit, I like your's better.
