Tons of firsts for me in the pen I just completed:
- first blank that I dried and cut myself from foraged wood
- first turn between centers (never going back, btw)
- first use of plexiglass for finish (thanks to thewishman!)
- first wetsanding
- first time using digital calipers (have finally learned to only trust the bushings so far...)
so you should be either really impressed or really scared!! lol
your pen came out of the chunks of wood in the attached photo.
