PITH Pen for simomatra

Just shipped this puppy off to Australia. It is my PITH pen for Bruce (simomatra). The kit is a Baron dressed up in East Indian Rosewood with ebony and maple. I tried something different for me on this one. I flip-flopped the colors on the knot just for effect and I think it worked out pretty OK. Let me know what you all think. CA finish and buffed using Beall.

Your pen when pictured opened in Gold with those facets appeals to me more than any opened pen of this type I have seen and I commend you for the choice and impressive making.

Good looking pen. I like the idea of swapping the colours on the knot. I may try that I figure if I'm off a little it looks like it will hide it well.
