PITH pen sent to JDJ309

This is the 2011 PITH pen I made for David. I didn't get it in the mail before the mail strike so it sat until the strike was over and it arrived today. The pen is a triton rollerball and the finish is CA.

I can 'knot' believe how nice that is. Great placement across the centerband. How worried were you about it surviving the turning without losing a large chunk?

I was a little worried and it did cause me to pucker a little bit. I soaked the knot with CA though to make sure it stayed solid before and during the turning. It was pretty tight to begin with.
