Phil sent me this pen and several beaut cast blanks and a Cedar blank as well. All the cast blanks including one with similar Gold Leaf pieces as the pen.

Like Phil made a new friend thanks again mate.

I appreciate you postinga few pics as I forgot to take some before packing it up. For those wondering what material is used, it is maple and mahogany segmented toether and gold leaf blank segmented on a 45 with aluminum liners. I learned alot making this pen and truly pleased that you like it.

Consider a friend made indeed and I hope you enjoy the blanks that came with it.

Thanks folks, I wouldn't have been able to make a pen like this except I pushed my limits 2 times in a row. The IAP pen contest and then on this PITH. I have figured out I do my best work and improve my skills the most in a challenge type situation. Makes me do my best when other penturners will see it.
