G'day, I'm back in the shed after some annoying health probs, and I received my PITH from MikeG who is a newbie like me, so that was good, apparently pine pithes him off NOW but he did a great job with a nicely grained piece of wood. Thanks Mike
A WW (mut) over here first ever successful wasted half the slab but then got this one right, except the dark brown coffee grounds when drilled and turned is really only a couple of brown dots in clear, oh well. Live an learn. Timber is cream coolabah burl, sanded to 600, mm to 12000, 15 coats ca, mm to 12000 again then cut and polish car paste.

Peter

Glad you are back in the shed. I like the WW burl. Good pictures of the pens. Thanks for posting one of the PITH. I learned that to avoid tear out in pine I had to shape with 150 grit, not a chisel.
