PITH from Mark Burnham

Received my pen from Mark Burnham and it is a beauty. Don't know what the wood is, but with the voids and spalt a great deal of care went into the turning. I love it! Mark also sent some blanks, mostly local wood, that needed to be hit heavily with CA to make it stable to turn. The second photo is from a blank he sent and is Siberian Peashrub. I had not turned wood needing that much attention while turning, but the results made it very worthwhile. Thanks, Mark!
