PITH from LagniappeRob

Received my first PITH yesterday from Rob. Actually turned out to be 2 pens

One is a Segmented Roller ball (Black Walnut and White Oak, I believe). The segmenting work is perfect and I like the asymmetric pieces.

The other is a Jeff Powell "Koi" blank on a roller ball.

Hopefully Rob can fill in the blanks on what the kits are.

He also supplied a box full of blanks including a large piece of Splatted Sweet Gum.

I defiantly got the better end of this swap.

The segmented is on a Jr Gent from Timberbits. The Jeff Powell "Koi" is a PSI Olympian Elite 2. I wasn't thrilled with the segmented. Just felt a bit plain to me. Can't say what the woods were, they weren't marked. Just thought they went together.

I love the pen and blanks I got. I've been offered $100 for it and turned it down, offering instead to get them in touch with the creator but they declined.
