I'm kind of proud of this. It's the first pen I've done in many, many months. I really looked through a bunch or boards at Home Depot to get one with an interesting grain - while still being "construction grade." So I'm showing it off. What surprised me was how long it took for me to make it! Enjoy and comments welcome.

WOW! Cathy you picked a winner with that one. The knot does not over power the Pen or the grain of the wood, it just adds a little contrast. Great choice of kits.

These pine pens keep on amazing me. I've never even considered pine as pen stock. That is a very beautiful pen. the knots and grains make a beautiful pattern. Very well done.
