Pith for Carpblaster

Rodney has received his pen and has asked me to post a photo so here it is. The main wood is Blue Mahone, the scallops are red, white and black pick guard and the trim wood is maple burl.

I thought I'd post another photo of the pen I received from Rodney and also one showing the blanks he sent. I believe it was his first time segmenting and he did a great job. He sent some great cast blanks but the one on top is going to be a real challenge as it is very translucent but I'm looking forward to seeing them all on pens.

I had a great time with the PITH and really enjoyed getting to know Rodney.

I love the pen mike sent me,it is now my carry pen everyone who sees it loves it.The pen i sent Mike was a first time segmenting 4 different kids of wood and then stair stepping then a ca finish,Thanks for a great pen
