PITH to Azimiryou

Stopped by to drop off my PITH to Azimiryou last night. He was hosting an open house for his creations (turnings and silver work), so got a bonus look at his work!

We have talked a couple of times over the last couple of years about incorporating train themes in pens, possibly disecting some of the smaller ones to cast and other ideas.... I did take the easy way out and came up with a desk pen...delivered by railcar. Next one will be a touch tougher!

The pen (and logs) is Buckeye Burl fountain on a Sterling Baron. The train is a HO scale log car.

This was an awesome PITH to receive. Jon's photo doesn't do it justice! I hope he doesn't mind that I took some photos of my own and posted them here. (Not that my photos do it justice, either, but they might be a little clearer.)
