I got this blank from Exotics as a freebie and while I don't normally go for this type of style, for some reason it really caught my eye. I guess Dawn knows better than me what I like! Paired it up with a chrome Elegant American which I also don't normally go for, but decided to pick a couple up while at my local IAP meeting at Woodcraft last month. I'm really happy how this one turned out, kinda cool looking. Sanded from 400-12000, plastic polish, viola... Comments welcome and thanks for looking!

I do not recall seeing that blank on their website. Do you what it is called? I think that is a very classy looking pen. I have a customer who likes B&W themes.

Thanks

It is not on the website yet. In light of another thread today, it is appropriate to say, my blanks frequently wait for several weeks (this one has been months) to hit the website. ANY partner blank gets posted before mine or Dawn's.

It WILL get there--yesterday the feathers went up, today is more of Jeff's---mine will come.

Meanwhile--enjoy lookin!!

Thanks for making the pen--I have only seen the sierra I made with it ---yours looks nicer!!

Different, but I like it. It has a look to it that is hard to describe. Great job on your part. Drilling has to be exact. Perfect kit for it too.

I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for putting it into words. It just has a certain something to it. Great combination.

Thanks everyone! This was a fun pen to make and as I posted earlier, I would not normally go for either the pen or the blank, but this one just came together nicely... I've very happy with how it turned out.

It looks like the pen is wearing a tuxedo! Very classy look!

Cool looking pen.

I wonder what it would look like if you intentionally turned it off center? Or maybe on a diagonal? You might get a really cool result.

Ed, please hold one of those blanks for my next order! My Dad asked me the other day if I could make a black and white pinstripe cigar pen for him. (and Father's day is coming up)
