Had an order this week for a BOW/Bloodwood pen w/Cross---so, I completed several others I had started. This is one of them---it's black persimmon (from Ebony family) and pink ivory with a Cross made by rasping (as usual). The kit for this one is black chrome.

Thats very nice looking. Two Questions though. How did you manage to get the pink ivory under the black persimmon? Where can I find black persimmon short of going out and chopping down the tree? Thanks in advance for any answers.

Thanks Guys --- And David, first I turn down the pink ivory blanks to an even size a little over the bushings, then drill out the black persimmon blanks and glue them over the pink ivory. A friend very kindly sent me the black persimmon which as I understand it is in the ebony family. I have used some ebony for other pens which looks the same to me.
