Got some decent weather today, so I was able to play a bit in the workshop. This is what I came up with, a segmented pen for the most part using components from a slimline kit.Since the design became so 'busy' on top, I decided to tone it down by making the lower barrel using simple oak. The pen clip was omitted so as to not add traffic to this design and it just does not look right with a clip attached IMHO. Feel free to share your comments.

Great looking pen, haven't tried that kind of segmenting yet but it looks good. I will try it now that the weather here in Albuquerque is in the upper 60's and lower 70's, I think my garage is warm enough now.
(Sorry guys, couldn't help it [:D])

The "Zonies" are killing me with envy of your weather.Must be brutal when the temperature dips to a cool 59 degrees.
Please send us your 'surplus' rays up north since I need to turn a few more pens.

Thanks for the nice compliments all, appreciate it.
