Tried to make some adjustments on the comments that were given. Thanks for the suggestions! I have a lot to learn about picture taking. Any spare time I have I usually spend it in the shop and have neglected trying to learn the art of picture taking skills. Hope to start a website in the future so I will be working on the pictures.

See I think the blue is better because the grey of the background hides the grey of the antler a bit. I actually have to work at it to see the pen in detail. With the blue the contrast makes the pen stand out better. I would try to smooth out the background of the blue some so you don't get that sharp line at the fold.

Now the pen itself is freaking gorgeous!!

After all the "controversy" lately about props and extra items in a pen picture, I really like the second pic, grey background. The pen is very promiment, nice detail, and just enough of the wood in the stand showing that tells me you're a woodworker!

I LIKE IT!
