I have had this blank done for a long time. After destroying the other half I have been searching for something to put it on. I finally figured it out yesterday. I had been working on several cartridge pen kits and low and behold it was thesame size. Comments and Critiques are always welcome and thanks for looking. It is Colored toothpicks cast in clear resin. It like the rest are getting ready for a show. This a good part of my supply for the show.

I really like the idea and it works with the kit. Very rainbow snake scale like. My only issue is the pattern created is broken by the voids. I assume this is where the tooth picks floated apart. Is there a way to secure the tooth picks before casting so they don't separate?

Oh yeah, nice display.

That was the first one I ever tried. I guess you could figure a way to secure them. THat piece has bee on my bench for about 6-7 months. Hopefully I can improve on it next time I give it a go.
