Hey all, this is the first ive shown anything on here. You guys do such good work that ive been aprehensive to post any of my stuff. but i finnaly got a couple pens made that i thought were close to being right. still alot to improve on, but im getting there. sorry for the cruddy pictures, all i have to work with is my camera phone and picassa...

first is Irish yew from a shrub that i cut, on a gun metal and gold cigar. the second is a piano inlay kit from woodturninz on a rodium gatsby.

Comments and criticism are very welcome. and please critique them and let me know how i could do better. ive only made somewhere around 20 pens so im still VERY new to all this.

wow thanks guys! i think im gonna hang on to the yew pen. its the first one that really jumps out at me. i made an amboyna burl cigar for my pastor, and let me tell you, that one was a tough one to let go. Ya ever have that problem?

ive got 4 more blanks cut out of that yew, so youll be seeing it again here pretty soon...

Thanks again for the kind words.

Phil
