I've been trying to play catch up with all these blanks I got from Neil (wolftat) I hope I live long enough , and can afford all the kits . I'm not sure what species the wood is , but it sure has some nice grain . There is a little knot that chipped out , leaving me a nice repair challenge , but it looks OK to me . I put this blank on a Black Ti Cigar , after finishing with 8 coats medium CA then plastic polish and RenWax . Thanks for looking !

Another great looking pen Chuck. The wood is either DIW or Manzanita. I believe those were the only darker woods I cast. Great looking pen.
