Derek (D.Oliver) missed out on the P.I.T.H. swap so, I offered to swap a pen with him. He sent me this nice pen with a few really nice wood blanks. One is Spalted Maple, one is Kentucky Coffeetree and, the one with the bark on it, he will identify after I make a pen with it.
The pen is an executive Chrome or Rhodium? dressed in Honey Locust with, Cedar dots and, bands. Turned between centers without bushings. A nice CA finish to top it off. The dots were drilled at an aposing angle so, they're not just circles. Pretty cool! The case was a nice touch and, matches the pen perfectly.
I'm anxious to see what I can do with these three blanks. Thanks Derek!:biggrin:
