I have to try this and the instructions weren't as hard as I thought. I did go through 3 blanks before I was able to figure it all out. the woods are a curly ash and the other is a spalted (I think) maple.

the t shirt is from the Eagles concert.

CONGRATULATIONS! Just three blanks huh...that's less than my first try. The pentel pencils are fun to make and they get easier the more you make. You will figure out how to do things differently and easier...for instance: drill with a 9/32 bit (or 7mm if you have one long enough), glue in a brass tube and turn the blank on a 7mm pin chuck. Much easier. And, BTW, those two pencils look really nice for the first two. You did well.
