A coworker ordered a pen for each of his two sons. They are die hard SF Giants fans, so he wanted the Bengal Tiger blank on the 8mm Slimline Click Pen. He felt that the 8mm Slimline in a straight finish was a little too thin, so he asked for a bit more heft as well.
I had a hard time trying to turn the Bengal Tiger blank with out it cracking and chipping. Because of this I also made two more 7mm twist out of the Kirinite Bengal Tiger just in case.
For the Bengal Tiger Clicks it was a learning experience. I had to take the lather down to about 800 rpm and use a skew (never used one before) to take the corners off before switching to the rouging gouge and a very light touch.
All pens were micromeshed to 12,000 followed by the Novus 3,2,1 finishing system.
