Mikes pen is Bloodwood, Cigar. I really like this stuff. Smells like cinnamon when I turn it. Smooth, velvet, nice sanding good stuff.

Thanks for your kind comment. I learn something every single time I turn a piece of wood. On the Cigar, next time I will bevel the top of the lower cylinder, it will make it flow a little better. Thanks Sparhawk. Tony, Phoenix, AZ

Pen looks fantastic, I like working with Bloodwood too, good idea to bring the lower barrel into the metalwork for a smoother look.[:p]

Remember, no matter how long you have been penturning you still learn something new every day!:D
