Pen from the weekend

I picked up this blank from PTownSubbie at the MAPG and I finally got a chance to turn it. I have a few other blanks that I bought and they will be done over the next few days if everything goes well.

This is the first set of pictures that I took with my new (to me) camera with a $30 photo tent from Wal-Mart. I hope to continue to improve the pictures but wanted to get these pictures out due to the awesome blank.

I was wondering the same thing.

Probably glitter from the blank, shows up from the lighting used.

I was wondering the same thing.

My first guess would be sanding dust filling small bubble holes in the casting , but I would not have expected that in one of his castings .

It is the glitter that was in the blank. I need to adjust the lighting to address that.
