This pen is from a cross blank made by Eagle. I messed up the bottom half, by not reading clearly how he'd posted that the blanks were big enough for just about any pen kit but a panache and one other kit. But I really wanted this in a panache so it would stand up. I tried to drill super straight and get the bottom half to be big enough but just couldn't. So I decided to pair it with what I thought made a good coordinating wood.

Yeah, you gotta drill REALLY straight on those blanks, messed one up myself[:(]

You paired up beautifully.....actually I like it better, adds more without taking away, if you know what I mean[;)][:D]

Very elegant looking work. I think the combination of woods works well and the finish really brings out the richness in the wood.

The 'birdman' would be real proud to see how nice of a pen that you made with his blank. Extremely eye pleasing pen that you have crafted there. Keep up the good work.
