So one of the things I like to do is make a pen for when we have a new member join our team at work. Not only does it make them feel welcome, they tend to later down the road order something for someone else. For this pen I used a piece of Purple Haze PR I had left from when I used to get them from EB. It has always been one of my favorite purple blanks. I then put it on a 2 tone chrome/satin chrome kit. I am giving it to her this morning.
This second one is a Mystic Resin blank by Jeff Powell. No sooner did I show this to the lady that sits behind me, was she wanting a pen. She wanted a slimline, but I convinced her to get the Saturn style since she likes a thicker pen and wanted gun metal. I mixed purple acrylic paint in with the epoxy to glue in the tubes.
