Default Pen for my brother

My parents "hired" me to make a pen and pencil set for my brother's graduation with his doctorate. This is the Mistral set from Signature Pen Supplies. Made from Buckeye Burl I got from Herb G. Thanks Herb! Got the pen done, now for the pencil...

Man you didn't waste any time making that. I am surprized by the hidden beauty in the blank you got. Excellent marriage of components & blank material.
You definitely have an eye for matching pens with materials.

It took me years to develop those skills. You mastered the hardest part of pen making in no time.

Glorious Buckeye Burl Blank Jason,
Matched Perfectly to the Mistral Hardware,
Excellent Profile on the Upper Blank, Superbly Finished.
This will be a Beautiful Gift for Your Brothers Graduation.
Look Forward to seeing the Pencil, and the Set.
Congratulations,
Brian.
