The girlfriend decided to make me a pen a few weeks ago (emmwittle), and this is it. Its my new daily writer, I think its gorgeous.
(this is a reverse from the normal order of things, I usually give her the pretty pens!:))

Tell me what you think, is she a keeper?

I'm not sure. It's a great looking pen and she did a great job, but if you keep her it will mean you have to share the lathe or buy her, her own. On second thought buy a second lathe it's worth it.

Alex,

There is no chance I will forget about picking up those blanks on Friday, I have to see that pen up close. It is fantastic, she did a great job.

Thanks for sharing,
Brad

It looks very good. I would like to know more of how to make a pen like that. How do you do the twist mechanism and do you have to drill the blank from both ends?
