This is my second kit less pen that I made my dad for Christmas. It is from a Brooks combustion blank. I ran out out of black acrylic so I had to use a scrap of black and white acrylic I had sitting around. I will make a new section out of black acrylic once I get more. This pen is hard to photograph, it is very hard to capture the depth in the swirls. All comments are welcome good and bad.

Pure liquid Amber (the European Amber) to me needs loving without a black armband.

The blank is supremo and does fire up.

Looks great John! Congrats on threading PR too! One thing you may want to consider is reverse painting the cap and body black. It'll really make the colors pop, plus when you thread in the black front section everything will match a bit better. I wouldn't paint the threads though.
