Pen for Eagle Scout

Custom pen being delivered in Winona. Laser cut Bald Eagle blank on a Gun Metal and Chrome Sienna ballpoint pen. Nine coats of WTF sanded between coats to 6000 grit.
It took two tries to get this right. The first attempt had tube showing through; worked harder at getting the laser kit assembled and did less turning on this one.
The figure in the walnut had me thinking the second was also a fail for a bit. You can see the figure in the longer feather at the top of the turned blank in this photo.

Wonderful pen! The eagle is beautifully made and has pretty colors which is perfect with the kit. Great job!
