Pen from blank furnished by Harold in CR

This is a pen made from Ojoche Wood grown and furnished by our fellow pen turner HAROLD IN CR. The Ojoche (which i've never heard of) tunes very nicely and this one I sanded with MM to 12000 and gave it 4 coats of Ren Wax. It has a nice grain in it. Thanks Harold.

Dudley Ojoche is disappearing fast with all the logging in Costa Rica, most of the time they will cut the tree down, and if it doesn't have the pretty heart wood they just leave it to rot, your pen looks very nice, I really like the color and shape, what did you finish it with??
