Been working on my shop, installing insulation and AC. Finally got time to do some turning. Here is one result. A made from scratch bullet pen (no kit used) I made it for friend of mine that I motorcycle with.

A close up of the finial. It looks like a hex head cap screw/bolt.
Here are some of the components that went into making it.
Those are 180 grain solid copper bullets and used 8mm cartridges
The finial/clip and transmission and tubing were all purchased separately and made to fit with lots of metal lathe work.
The Cocobolo top barrel was a dream to turn. I am going to have to get me some bowl size blanks in it.
