I've been playing with the resin again. A few years ago my supervisor gave me some Peach rootball that he dug up with a pick axe. So it had some voids in it. I've been letting it dry while figuring out what to do with it. And since filling such voids has become the rage, I made a few up. Here is the first... chrome Perfect Fit.

And while I'm at it, I took another photo of the Spruce Cone CE copper Baron from a few days ago. It seems that LOML moved the lights of my light tent and didn't tell me. So things were all out of whack and the photo was just too dark.

Beautiful rootball pen! The top of the spruce cone pen, in your signature style, looks nice. The closed-end part just seems a little...I don't know...not as strong?

You're doing some snazzy stuff.

Thanks, guys. Karl, it was actually two small ones. But I did find one long enough and cast it in the same maroon resin as this one. There are only about a half dozen spots of resin on each barrel that didn't turn away on this one. No telling how the other one will look.
