Default Palentine Hill

Need ID help on son fog(found on ground) wood. The wood came from Rome Italy on Palentine Hill. We vacationed there and I always look for a piece to make a few pens from as keepsakes.

How did you manage to get wood with bark pass Customs...?

As for the wood, I don't know what it is but it looks like Acacia...!

Cheers
George
