A Pair of Stabilized, Dyed Redwood Burl Sierras

Nice day today, it started out with a motorcycle ride to breakfast and the Bikes and Bombers exhibit and ended with these two pens from a blank I bought on EBAY. Turning went so well I wondered if I was dreaming, no issues, just smooth productivity (which is frequently NOT the case). The blank had many eyes, blue dye and was dark in the whole, but became something different when turned. These photos do not due justice to it, but an attempt was made. They are kinda cool to me.

Very nice pens. It is hard to see with the black background. You can see enough to know those are very nice pens.
