Here are a couple I just finished up. Still working the high finish with CA but I'm pretty happy with both of them. I rough sanded to 600, then applied 6 layers of medium CA and used micro mesh up to 12000. MY photo skills are also a work in progress, these are slightly over exposed.

Both are very nice. You can definitely see the shine on them. Your photo setup looks good, maybe find something to diffuse the lighting a bit, especially if you're using a flash.

Hey Dana,
They look sweet! but the photos are what gets the attention. Thats why I don't post a lot of pens, I've got nice cameras but just don't know how to use them.

The pens look good.

I have to agree with the difussion of the light comment above, and to my eyes they also look a touch soft in focus as well.

For the ironwood pen, I would like to see an off camera reflector to bring up the shadows a bit on the top of the pen. The detail there blocks up (becomes just a black mass).
