I hope everyone's havin' some fun out in the shop today!
Here is a pair of pens I finished up today.
The Zen is what I came up with for a pen that my dear Aunt,who is a Yoga instuctor,wanted a Om pen made.Not knowing what that is,she sent me a couple stamps that are more like round decals.Pretty large,so I thought it would look best with just one,on a pretty piece of curly Cherry.It reflects the light pretty good when you twirl it.
About 100 coats of Med.,then turned down to size so you can't detect anything there with your eyes closed.
The other one's a Christmas gift I made for a golfer we know.This piece of BOW has a large creme area on the top that looked like a sand trap to me,so I thought it would be cool on this pen.
I like making these with the wider centerband so the end of the club does not stick out farther than the barrel.
