These are the new pencil kits that CSUSA sells---I had been wanting to give this kit a try. I like it---easy to build and works great.Anywho one is very old Cedar Burl (the best I have ever seen) and the other is unknown---some kind of burl from India.

Very nice pencils Gary, I have a couple on my bench since I came back from Provo. Can't seem to get them out of the bag. [:)] That cedar burl is really sharp.

Good job Gary, they are both good looking pencils. I really like the new version of this pencil. I just finished one myself from some flame box elder that I've been saving for something special. TIP. Try the hard lead that they also have for sale, it is in my opinion a much better lead to write with. For my taste the lead that comes with these kits is just to soft.
