Pair of Jr Gents as gift for getting tenure

I made this pair of Jr Gents as a special gift for a friend that just got tenure.
The acrylic blanks are Kelley Green from Bear Tooth Woods. I also sent a couple of extra refills and ink cartridges along with a zippered two pen carry case.

I asked ahead of time as to a favorite color and if he liked a ballpoint, rollerball or fountain pen.

He told me he likes both rollerballs and fountain pens and would leave that up to me as well as the style of pen.

I hope he can tell them apart

Heck , he's a college professor, he'll figure it out !

my opinion will be a bit biased cuz green is my favorite color, but i really love the look of both pens! If your friend does not like them, i will gladly accept them! Nice work!

Can't go wrong with green in my eyes either. Great looking pair of pens!

I even got a couple extra blanks in case I had a brain fart when working on these. Painting the inside of the blanks black really makes for a deep color.

My friend is a Costume Designer and a workaholic so I hope two rollerball refills will last him a few months.
