I got the blanks from EB and finished in CA.

The blank is a pine cone and so I suggest you save shavings and dust as you go, so you can fill any voids that occur. Easy to turn, though I suggest you go dead center so as not to turn out too much of the color.

Nice blanks.

Pine cone present a whole different kind of challenge, and it looks like you did this one just fine! Like the coloring.

Thx for the suggestions. I am just about to turn a couple of Christmas colored pine cone pens myself, so I will put them to use.

I like your work-beautiful job. Excellent match to the pen too, IMHO. Thx for sharing.

I like them. Nice job on those. Those pine cone blanks from EB are always so nice. I bet whoever ends up with them are going to enjoy them.
