One of the Acacias indigenous to Australia. Sometimes called Aust Purple Heart.

Grows in Desert Country holds the Purple always only type in the world that does in other words it never fades.

Apparently this timber is the second most dense timber in the world and for mine with sapwood quite beautiful.

Regards Peter.

The sapwood really draws the eye, I think the contrasting tones on this pen make it stand out. The craftsmanship looks perfect with clean lines and a sweet fit. Very striking pen!

Peter,
That is a beautiful pen! I love the combination of the heart wood and sapwood and the contrast really makes it a striking pen! Thanks for showing.
Regards, Doc
