This is my work today; I'm fairly satisfied with the look:

The pen is a Black Titanium Baron dressed in segmented Sapelle and Hard Maple finished with MM, BLO, CA, and buffed out with a carnuba wax topcoat.

I wanted the maple and sapelle to separate the segmentation until the pen is posted, then the sapelle continues thru the barrels.

Feel free to provide criticism and suggestions.

Great looking pen. I need to learn how to segment so that I can try opposite woods. Keep up the great looking work.

Thanks y'all. Much more critical eyes had other thoughts elsewhere. Split between liking it and not liking the differences in the top and bottom barrels. I've been carrying it and find that when the cap is posted so the rings line up I love it.
When they don't align, it's looks like two halves of two pens mushed together.
Since I've more of this kit, I can play quite a bit.
