I am a hyper adult & go at most things way too fast...& read instructions only as a last resort....So, I open a longwood kit & there are 3 tubes, so, I cut 3 blanks & glue them up. The next day as I am getting ready to turn them down, I realize that there might just be some assembly problems in
the very near future...after reading the instructions (which were not all that clear to me) i proceeded full speed ahead. (seems like there was a torpedo quote in the making) I found an extra part & just decided to go with it as it was! lol Never seen anything quite like it! Definitely one of a kind....maybe it will interest someone...

Penn State is correct.

I have had the kit since Christmas & finally "got around to it" If I did not have that extra centerband I guess I would have tried to modify it someother way...lol It is Zebrawood cut @ a 45* angle....lol:biggrin:

I like the look. That blank makes the pen.......Really something different.

Can I ask 'what' is a longwood kit? Who has them?
