Hey yall
Well weas in the shop all weekend and everthing went into bad overdrive. Had a great looking peice of acrlic but when turning it chipped and blew apart. Then I was working on an idea for another inlay and while I was turning /you guessed it/ it blew apart. All weekend I was only able to produce 1 pen and even my wife does not like it. She says the wood and the kit does not match. Here are the pics one is a blow out and the4 other is red palm with a Sculpted kit finished with ca and shellawax/ ya should be able to tell the difference.

Sorry to hear about all of your design opportunities [;)] I agree with your wife. The more ornate kits look better with fairly plain blanks, IMO. Don't get me wrong, the red palm looks good. I just think it would look great with a less ornate kit.
