One Ugly Pen - Yes I know it is.

I was bored yesterday afternoon when I came home from being away for a couple days. I wanted to turn something but wasn't really in the mood for anything real productive. Aha, I spot a couple scraps of various pen blanks. Should be OK for a quick pen to just play around for a few minutes. Well, I decided if I wasn't going to really work at making it "pretty" I'd might as well just see what turned out (no pun intended). After part of the mesquite blew out I added the corian. So, I already know it's ugly but even a "Mutt Puppy" from the pound deserves some love too!!!

I think its a great way to use up all the scraps around the shop. I think the pen looks good, but I like differnt things. I can also see someone buying it.

I had some tearout and thought adding the groves would add some interest and hide the boo-boo
