One for Mudder

When Scott(Mudder) sent me my pen from the Pen in the Hat exchange, he also included some blanks with a request that I post what I do with them. Here's the first one, a Berea RT Euro in Ti Gold, made from Madrone. I tried a different finish on it because I wanted the wood a bit darker than it was. The finish 6 coats of Tru Oil, buffed with White Diamond, then TSW and finally Ren Wax. The transmission gave me fits, but it finally works as it should.

Gerry,
I like this pen a lot. I'm branching out in my turnings and I just picked up some madrone burl. Is it hard to turn, and does it warp and crack much?
