This is a 24k/Gun Metal (that looks Black in the scanned pic) with a Spalted Elm blank. I applied a light reddish waterbased stain then finished with MYlands and Hut. You can just notice a hint of red that hardly shows in the pic. what looks like a gap where the bottom ring joins the wood is a shadow there is a problem I'll have to work on - the tube provided seems to be a tad too short and the tip extends too far. I'll have to figure a way around that.I might widen the bottom band.
