I picked up a ton of lumber that will turn into some great pens....but this one was made out of scraps that were headed for the trash - they were cut-offs that he threw in at no charge. I would say what would have been thrown out, turned into a beautiful pen. Flamed maple with a segmented Bloodwood band on 24k. Let me know your thoughts.

I would make sure them man in charge of the scraps get one pen back for a way of saying "Thanks"........you might just get more.

Your pen looks great.....you are doing well.

That is some beautiful work!!!!! This hobby always amazes me how true artists can take little bits of what others would call nothing, into something beautiful. You should be very proud.
