I have been wanting to learn to use a Fountain Pen so I decided to make one for me. Been a while since I have made one of these. I had a tough time getting it put together correctly.

Zebrawood on a Gold Jr Gent II with CA finish.

Comments good and not so good are welcome. I am still working on better picture setup.

Nice looking pen. If you have a small piece of that wood left knock that plastic finial out and put a piece of the zebra wood in it's place.

That is an awesome idea!! I do have a piece left. I might have to try that.

How difficult is it to get that final out?

Pops out real easy with a transfer punch. I drilled a hole in a piece of wood and a piece or rubber just slightly larger than the finial. Set the cap on these to protect against scratches and pops out into the hole.
